Boot Camp Coral Springs
Our unique HIIT format of exercise moves will be featured each day, integrating five essential building blocks in every class to deliver maximum results. We currently offer Personal Group Training, Semi Private Persona Training, and Private One on One Personal Training in Coral Springs & Plantation areas.
Functional training utilizes movements performed in life’s daily activities, such as walking, bending, lifting and climbing stairs. Our workouts will emphasize many foundational movements, such as squatting, pressing, jumping, lunging and pulling, upon which more complex functional movements are built, training your body for everyday life, not events. After all, what’s the real benefit of having the sexiest abs in town if you can’t lift a child without tweaking your back, run for a taxi without knee pain, carry home heavy grocery bags with ease and participate in recreational sports without pain or soreness?
Strength training is critically important. 1) Strength training builds muscle; muscle tension and density give a body a toned look. 2) Strength training elicits hormonal responses that build up skeletal tissue, helping stave off osteoporosis and making carbohydrate processing more efficient. 3) Strength training burns more calories than cardio alone by causing the body to go into repair mode after exercise. 4) Muscle tissue burns more calories than non-muscle tissue. So building muscle increases your metabolism speed, burning more calories even at rest.
Despite the importance of strength training, the exercise regimens of many people (especially women) are often lacking a sufficient amount of heavy-load strength building exercises. Women need not fear bulking-up, as obtaining a bulky body is actually a slow and difficult process. Given women’s low testosterone levels and the absence of artificial growth hormones, the risk of bulking up is virtually non-existent. Plus, our workouts use loaded and unloaded strength training to target total body movements, further reducing the impact on individual muscle growth while providing the benefits of toning and increased metabolism.
“All-out” effort intervals, intervals that push your heart rate to about 90 percent of its maximum, followed by active recovery, challenge your body more than moderately intense cardiovascular exercise. This type of training is harder on your body, so your body’s recovery requires more energy, or calories, thus, increasing your metabolism. High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts have also been proven very effective at increasing cardiovascular health, increasing production of human growth hormone, which encourages your body to build lean muscle mass, and increasing the body’s work capacity, making it much easier to climb a flight of stairs or go on a light jog without becoming winded. The net effect of HIIT will be better results in less time.
Exercises targeting the whole body achieve extra muscle activity by engaging multiple muscle groups in each movement, which means your body burns more calories.
Because of the human body’s tremendous ability to adapt, the more fit we become, the better able our bodies are to handle the same level of exercise. Thus, our bodies burn fewer calories, our metabolism decreases and our progress stalls. By delivering a different HIIT:30 experience each day, featuring highly varied exercises and equipment, we will prevent this fitness plateau.
